Darren Jordison – Chief Executive Officer

Darren joined the Lanhams Timber & Hardware Group as CEO in 2003 before overseeing the merger between the former Melco & Lanhams Businesses in March 2008. Darren’s previous experience includes two years as an Area Manager with Mitre 10 Australia covering the Sunshine Coast to Rockhampton region of Mitre 10 & True Value Stores. Darren’s work history has seen him working in many parts of Queensland regional areas as well as having a National role with a Small Business Consulting Firm called ‘It’s Your Business’ (IYB).

Anthony Lovell – Chief Financial Officer

Anthony has been involved in the Hardware Industry since 1993 working as a graduate accountant before moving on to manage stores for BBC Hardware in numerous locations around Australia including North Queensland and Western Australia. As an accountant, Anthony has held positions in a variety of other businesses including; Hotels, Public Practice and Public Service. Before joining the Lanhams group as Financial Controller in 2007, Anthony was based in Canberra in a senior role with the Commonwealth Indigenous Affairs.

Adrian McCormick – Group Trade Manager

Adrian has a wealth of experience in the Building Industry and his most recent role prior to joining MelcoLanhams was as State Manager for CSR Gyprock & Fibre Cement. Adrian has held numerous positions with the CSR group but has also had a number of years of overseas experience working with the wholesale Timber group, ‘Carter Holt Harvey’ in Asia. Adrian joined MelcoLanhams as the Group Trade Manager in January 2009 is based in our Kunda Park store where he oversees the company’s distribution facility as well as being responsible for all MelcoLanhams Trade activities.

Darren Fanshaw – Group Retail Manager

Darren has made his career all about the Hardware business originally starting at the iconic ‘Frank Sauer & Sons Mitre 10’ store in Gympie after leaving school. The Sauer’s business changed hands a number of times over the years before being acquired by the Melco group and finally becoming part of the newly merged MelcoLanhams business. Darren has over twenty years experience in the Hardware Retail sector and although Darren is based in MelcoLanhams Gympie store, he is also responsible for all of the Group’s activities in the Retail sections of our business.

Kathy Williams – Human Resources Manager

Kathy joined the Lanhams Group in 2003 after relocating from Melbourne where she held a number of positions with the Minter Ellison Group who are one of the largest law firms in the Asia‐Pacific region. Kathy carries the dual responsibilities of looking after the company’s Human Resources requirements as well as Personal Assistant to the CEO.
