Assistant Service Manager
Location: Griffith NSW
Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday
Reports to: Service Manager
Remuneration: Retainer
Position Summary:
This is a hands-on role in our busy Service Department. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for assisting with the overall productivity of the team to ensure that all work is completed to the high standards that we aim for.

Key responsibilities:
· Providing the best possible service to customers, while maintaining an efficient and profitable operation. This includes achieving a high level of customer satisfaction, by meeting customer agreed criteria in quality (fix it right first time) costs and completion time.
· Building and maintaining positive customer and employee relationships.
· Operating at optimum capacity with good measures to ensure cost control.
· Assist in obtaining service profit objectives.
· Assist in Organising, directing service advisors.
· Ensure the service process is being closely monitored and controlled.
· On every occasion ensure that all interactions by the dealership are of the highest standard, both internally and externally.
· Responsible for the implementation of company procedures & WHS functions for workshop operations.
· Responsible for motivation of workshop staff, guiding and fostering a good team environment and to foster good internal relationship between the Service Department and other departments within the company.
· Lead by example, build a team spirit amongst workshop staff, motivate staff for positive outcomes in quality service, develop a positive Dealer image.
· Organising workshop environment & equipment to maintain a high standard of working conditions.
Skills and experience
· Evidence of a high personal motivation and interpersonal skills.
· Have proven leadership experience from a dealership service environment.
· Have a high-level knowledge of service department processes, policies and procedures.
· Demonstrate excellent customer service with well-developed communication skills both verbal and written.
· Demonstrate experience in Service Department KPIs with great time management skills.
· Experience with Titan operating system is desirable.
· Current Drivers Licence.
· Acceptable typing and computing skills for data entry relevant to workshop operations.
· Recognised automotive education and/or automotive industry qualifications.

Full Time Service Advisor

-Take all necessary actions to resolve customer complaints in the shortest possible time
-Conduct customer service follow up
-Carry out all tasks required according to standard work procedures
-Ensure all manufacturer’s warranty policies are adhered to

CRITERIA:
To be successful in this role, applicants will:
